The second flight test of a fully integrated Starship could launch as soon as mid-November, pending regulatory approval.
This is neither here nor there, but I’m curious about the degree to which Musk’s other companies have been affected by the twitter deal. SpaceX likely wasn’t affected due to the unique nature of the business, or was it?
The official livestreams have certainly been affected. We used to get 4k streams on YouTube, along with a separate stream for mission control audio, which continued mission coverage long after each hosted webcast ended. Now we’re stuck with standard definition webcasts and no mission control audio :(
It’s not the same as the vehicle cameras, but Tim Dodd has a pretty good setup for ground based shots.
Gwynne has always been the one running the show anyway. She lets Elon play in his sandbox when he stops by, but he hasn’t been around I would assume. Which is fine, fewer distractions.
It could also not
