    The TransPennine rail lines need upgrading desperately, what the hell happened to that upgrade project.

    Whenever HS2 wraps up, the next one should be an east-west high speed link.

    A high-speed through link between Liverpool, Manchester, and Leeds would massively increase growth in the north.
