Depends entirely on the program you use.
Most CAD programs has all the features, but difficult to learn and just isn’t needed most of the time.
For simple stuff things like Tinkercad and MatterControl are much better. They are basically drag, drop and rotate.
While good printers, the amount of waste those Bambus produce just don’t make them feasible in my eyes. If you use 4 colours, they waste about 44cm of filament while you haven’t even started printing.

Creating 3d vector images is really easy with this. Is also a lot sleeker than Blender.
That is indeed more likely than them switching to Linux.
Us computer nerds don’t understand that because we live our lives surrounded by computers, but there are plenty of households that don’t even have a computer, let alone one they want to switch to a niche OS.
The fact those poor distros exist means yet another hurdle for the average user to switch to Linux
It also isn’t just the resin fumes that are toxic, but the post processing bio ethanol as well.
MatterControl sits somewhere in between.
Works great for arsty models, though it can sometimes mess up the mesh. Still one of my most used modeling software next to FreeCAD

Shows a little bar and you have to get it in between. Feels like a real life quicktime event, lol.
Had problems with it on my Anycubic Vyper as well.
But on my Snapmaker J1s it came like that out of the box. And it wasn’t even set to smooth finish.
If the slicer shows the same holes in the sliced file, it is likely caused by the model itself.
Had the same issue once, kept failing the exact same way no matter how I sliced it.
Ended up recreating the model and then it sliced perfectly without any problem.

The thing with 3D printing is that it is usually stronger and uses less filament when you do a full shape without holes.
These shapes work well with conventional manufacturing, but 3D printing is different because it is mostly hollow on the inside

The majority of the “unknown” stats are most likely Windows if you compare the graphs.
Very telling how Linux dominates every computing sector, except the one where the majority of users has to interact with directly.
Seems like Linux just needs a shell before the average user is able to interact with it in a consumer-friendly way.
The majority of people … just aren’t into OSes enough to care.
Windows does what they want it to do, comes with the laptop they bought and doesn’t require much setup for them to start using it. Even a tech illiterate can setup a Windows in 15 minutes.
The more advanced users just know how to read settings, and disable all the parts they do not like. Windows can very much be molded to adapt to the users preference, no matter what the Linux fanatics claim. Most of their arguments come from an ignorant perspective that hasn’t rang true for 10+ years.
Yeah, that is what Linux needs.
