Hi. Is it possible to have Shelter app on a recent Samsung phone? I just got a Samsung A04s because of budget, and it seems like I can’t run work profile apps in it. I’ve tried Shelter, Insular and Island, none of them worked, they’re in conflict with native’s Dual Messenger option, which is a limited work profile, that only can run message apps like WhatsApp.

Do you know how to solve this? Maybe someway to remove Dual Messenger?

I had Shelter set up on my Galaxy A12 with no problems, though I didn’t use dual messenger.

I can’t be sure, but it sounds like dual messenger is already using the work profile, therefore preventing another app from using it too?

If you wanna remove dual messenger, look into adb commands. You can use them to disable or “uninstall” system apps (though they won’t be truly uninstalled, the files remain in your root file system, but it’s better than nothing).

      Yeah, that worked! Thx :D

I disabled Dual Messenger and uninstalled it using adb. When tried to activate Shelter, got the same error again, but when I tried the manual installation it worked flawlessly!
