It means interesting things built in quieter times are now too central to be anything but housing. In most towns, this would be reasonably priced enough that someone eccentric could buy it, or even make it into a public display place. Instead, it’s london, and it’s going to become 7 £750k flats. (plus a two story extension)
This really needs to be bought for the nation - I’ll chip in a couple of quid.
It makes me sad how london is so OTT expensive. It means interesting things built in quieter times are now too central to be anything but housing.
