Microsoft set themselves up the bomb
This looks pretty interesting! I haven’t used fedora before either so could be good to give it a go. I’ve had some issues with my Pop OS install so could be a good excuse to try something new.
Been using this recently and it’s great. I have it on my Mac for work but I should really set it up on my personal Linux PC as well because I really like it.
I’m doing my part!
Proton is what allowed me to make the switch. I do dual boot but almost never use my windows partition.
This is an aberration. You must choose one and never deviate.
Seriously though I think it’s pretty normal. When I install Linux i usually pick whatever distro at the time and end up using a couple of different ones. I have arch on my desktop and Pop OS on my laptop at the moment.
All good, plenty of games to play. Definitely my last time buying NVIDIA though.
That sounds great. The last driver they released fixed Starfield but broke Cyberpunk for me, pretty bad trade. Hopefully this rolls around to my distro soon
Sold!
Heh, well done fellow internet person.
I dual boot PopOS which has been great. Only use Windows for a couple of games that don’t work well with proton.
Can they just make the copilot shortcut on my taskbar permanently removed off? It appears erratically and I don’t seem to be able to get rid of it when it’s there.
That’s been my experience with it. Browse the web, do gaming via Steam and Lutris. Been pretty solid out of the box for me.
As long as they treat it right
It was a joke on the dual meaning of “user repository” which I didn’t think about that deeply but that would have been smart.
