MX or antix.
MX or antix.
Arco, Mabox, and Bunsenlabs are my current vm favorites.
You’re not alone.
MTG was stupid for initially saying it, but it’s clear she isn’t alone.
No, it’s a joke and I’m Jewish.
MX is just fine, I wouldn’t ever hesitate to use it. I’ve loved SuSe since the chameleon sold me back in the 90’s, but MX is my fallback/goto distro now.
Try Arco. I always wonder how Endeavour always seems to get mentioned before it. The online install option let’s you pick everything you want during installation, and the offline install is fine as well. The online install has options for Wayland/Hyprland as long as it’s on bare metal. I distrohop in Virtualbox and that would be my pick. If the hardware is old, Mabox is great.
I would rather have arco over endeavour.

I just wanted to know. For example: tumbleweed comes with firefox, do people uninstall it and reinstall it in a flatpak? The question comes from curiosity.

I’ve tried a few on my 2008ish macbook pro and they all work. Antix and MX work well as do the others. I know MX gets some hate on here, but it works. I did cheat and shoved an old SSD in there because it really sped things up.
Re seat your RAM modules.
antix works too and it’s even smaller.
I just installed antiX and then MX on a 2008 macbook pro. It didn’t want to boot from a USB so I burned a DVD.
Straight Outta Compton.
