Why will it be better in just a couple months? Something on the horizon?

What about in steam specifically, seemed like a bit of a steam issue as it was very buggy, flicking graphics and such in Steam client and big picture mode was godawful, even tried the render fix mentioned online and it didn’t help at all.
Funny enough, I also flashed my (probably much older) HP Spectre X360 to endevourOS last week, works good, feels more responsive then PopOS was on it.
I then tried Bazzite on my desktop and the experience went much worse, seemingly because of Nvidia driver support still being pretty bad on linux. Oh well.
You can group/collapse in Vivaldi
Are you incapable of reading into nuance at all? How could you possibly…
Right, just crazy how poor it is in comparison.
So it’s worse then the lower performance version of a 7 year old GPU?
Java is pretty common, moreso in enterprise but still, it’s not like it’s some unknown language lmfao
I like Linux, but it sucks to support it in a corporate environment, specifically when it comes to trying to help end-users with it.
There’s so many distros and configurations, and the ones who call in with issues are the ones who probably shouldn’t be using Linux because they barely know how to work a computer, it was just their well meaning family member who put them on it.
I was about 13, parents were getting divorced, house was being shortsaled, mom had moved out already and took the main computer with her, dad got a really old Windows XP Dell laptop (had a red nubbin) from a friend to use, it ran so extremely slow on XP already (literally would take minutes to load a video and it was choppy doing just that) I knew Vista or 7 couldn’t run on it so I looked online for other OSes that might work.
Landed on Linux mint, got that bad boy set up in my little sisters (now empty) room as it was in the corner where I could reach my neighbor friend’s wifi. I watched so much Bleach/Naruto that summer lol
Luckily I had setup that neighbor friends wifi with DDWRT so I knew the pw :P
I also use Fedora Wayland but on a HP Spectre X360 from like 2013 or something, touch screen works fine and overall runs a lot better then win 10 was prior.
I see he/him for you in Sync
I am serious, I don’t see how the argument that centralized social media sites like Facebook, reddit or X were “taken over” when they are outright owned by those companies. It’s a completely different situation with the fediverse were they literally can’t have the same power as they don’t hold the keys to everyone’s servers, the development of activity pub as a whole or anything of that nature. It’s literally a completely different situation.
Oh federated social media has been tried before? Til
This is much more likely, the way twitter works is very different from reddit/Lemmy style
I remember watching Pulp Fiction for the first time and being confused as to why the gimp was called that.
My Documents > My Games is kinda the default, but then you have steam cloud syncing and tons of games that default to various Appdata folder seemingly at random.
I did yes lol
