One benefit to vote transparency for admins is mod monitoring options.

Since the huge push to SaaS I’ve seen plenty of companies that essentially run thin clients.
The local workstations are just thier access to login to X website that host thier apps and data.
Zero reason for them to switch to win11 or buy new hardware due to “incompatibility”.
These end users can be trained to use mint or Ubuntu and be just as productive at work.
You can self host either platform so you have full control.
At that point anything you run is on you for security.
Connect wise and ninjaone come to mind.

If you must install that monitoring removed on your personal machine then I would recommend using a VM if possible.
You can do windows eval forever and try to use Libre office instead of open office.
