Echo nobara.
Been the most stable nvidia experience for my odd setup.
Able to handle an ultrawide and normal monitor 1440 at different hz and one is display port other is hdmi.
Would run into the occasional hickup with manjaro. Been all good on nobara
Happens on my manjaro desktop too. Hope you find a solution.
removeding up is always the best way to learn. Could have seen myself doing the same thing if I hadn’t just read this lol
Am also new, have tried 2 distros. Not even close to an expert but this had been my experience as a new user.
Mint was easy but a little too squeaky for me.
Used manjaro next and like the environment of xfce over cinnamon by a large margin.
As others suggested would try out a couple first, possibly on an old laptop. Then when you find the one you like can switch over your main system.
