I’m a leftist that doesn’t like corporations or what they do to people. I try not to run corporate backed distros, too. I hate that Red Hat has such a grip on the open source world.

I’d start there move on to gpg keys after checking that.
If that all still looks good, I’d probably still change the mirror for testing purposes.
My regular computer is ext4.
I assume my raspberry pi is ext4, but I’ve never checked what DietPi runs as default. It works fine.
My 720xd is ext4 on the OS drives, but the storage drives are ZFS with dual parity.
