You don’t need to change your ntp server exactly you can just set the time zone settings of your device (android)to match the same region of your VPN server. if you want to go a step further you have the option (not mandatorily) to change the NTP server of your device.
you can use Safe Space app, it uses your device keystore to encrypt your vault and the PDF file is opened inside it
Safe Place
I manually set the ntp server of my device to match with the location of my VPN server and use an pp to see the time of my real location.
WebRTC being used to de-cloak VPN users
The clock of my device always match with the location of the server of my VPN provider
Where do you live?
💯
Killswitches give a false sense of security because it is still possible to extract some form of audio through other sensors. Another problem is that the firmware of the Wi-Fi/4G modem does not receive periodic update to prevent attacks. Pinephone won’t be of any use, I’ve been in the same situation as you and preferred to opt for the Pixel with GrapheneOS.
Linux phones aren’t ready yet as a daily driver and have a poor security. I think a Pixel phone with GrapheneOS is a better choice.
The land of “free market” is a joke lol
This is the problem of the security model by obscurity, if they had opted for an open source model both in hardware and firmware (like Nitrokey) maybe they wouldn’t be having this problem.
RedLib (former Libreddit) Piped, e-mail server and Nextcloud
I stand with AMD
Betterbird, a Thunderbird fork and I installed it from AUR repo but it has a flatpak version too
Both are equally important for the GNU/Linux world. Torvalds is more inclined to the “tech” side and Stallman is more like a “philosopher” the man who showed us the importance of free software. They are body and soul of the GNU/Linux. Long live to them.
I didn’t have any problem using Arch Linux which many say is much more newbie unfriendly but I had several problems using Fedora most related to Intel video drivers and I couldn’t solve them in any way. The fan of my Intel Nuc started to run on maximum when I opened the browser lol. All drivers were correctly installed
