You’re forgetting the finest feature - you have to tell everyone in the real world and online that you use arch btw.

So after the first 3 zeroes, it’s a comma every second zero. And there are local names for those denominations.
So
10
100
1,000
10,000
1,00,000 = 1 Lakh or 1 Lac
10,00,000 = 10 Lakhs/Lacs
1,00,00,000 = 1 Crore
People generally don’t use the next set of names which are called 1 Arab and then 1 Kharab and probably a few more, they just start saying 1000 crores or lakhs of crore etc.
Many people also use millions and billions instead of the above.
And then decimals are denoted by a period, not commas.
Kind of related, our financial year is from 1st April till 31st March, so you gotta watch out for quarter numbers not matching. Our financial Q1 is the calendar Q2…
Good boss. What are you using it as? I’m guessing some homelab setup but will be interesting to know
Wonder if it’s running on Linux
They mean to keep the files only on your desktop, keep it always on, and use VPN from your laptop to your desktop to access whatever files you want at that time from the desktop directly.
Why would you say I’m a anyprojectname?
Thanks, it took some prompts but it worked in the end! I used a few subdomains of an actual domain I use for email…
I used chatgpt to create the exact steps, commands and configurations I needed for my setup and achieved this the seemingly cheatful way. I used nginx and certbot. Worked like a charm. Congrats!
You know that famous The Dude meme? Applies here.
Not a chrome fan and I use Librewolf and I like how I’ve customised it. But that’s just, like, my opinion, man.
Remember those Winamp channels? Hope this leads into that. IPTV is supported by Winamp but not the easiest way to use it, maybe this would make that better too.
Edit - sorry I meant IPTV is supported by VLC*
I think everyone does, except Indians
Gnome is a big reason I switched fully to linux
This is solid advice
Or user balls and host ck
Why shoot with the phone and bother mounting it, if such a solution existed, instead of using the phone as a phone and the camera as a camera separately without mounting
Firstly, hats off to you for trying to properly diagnose the problem and trying everything that you did. Hope you find the solution soon. Some random suggestions if you haven’t already tried - clean the battery contacts (I’m not sure of the best method to do so but I’m sure you can find something online), check to see if the problem exists in different screen refresh rates, turn off auto brightness if its on.
This is something to try but not sure how to do this in Linux - https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000152765/why-does-the-screen-flicker-while-running-on-battery
All the best
I put ubuntu on a surface Pro 4, around 2016, and everything worked perfectly without fiddling with drivers back then except autorotate. I’m guessing by now even that works.
First, you set up a company, doesn’t matter the name. Hire the bare minimum number of employees maybe one to handle accounting, and one sales person to start. Make sure you pay them either minimum wage or slightly under, with a false promise of introducing a profit sharing mechanism soon to keep them motivated. Then, the magic starts. You handle key clients yourself and make your sales target various demographies - sell this graphic for 1 bison dollar per jpeg. The trick is to sell the first million within 3 months. Show these sales to banks or investors and ask them for a further 500 million to expand and scale up your sales. Then, you vanish to an unknown island in the Pacific. Easy money.
I’d settle for Microsoft 365 offline apps + trouble free miracast
That must be fun, when you’re not busy doing crossfit or planning your vegan meals.
