yup, same. especially after explicit sync lands in a couple of days, even the rest of the minor problems should vanish.
I’m interested in #anarchism, #Esperanto, #Linux, #FOSS, gaming and music, among other things. Antifascist for life.

which desktop environment are you using?
i’m fine with this nor do i have a problem with systemd in genereal
it’s arch based, though immutable as i understand
i’ve been using rc2 for a couple of weeks and it’s really good improvement over 5.27, which was also a quite solid release.
i tried recently compiling the epoch build on machine, but it didn’t start. maybe because of my nvidia card. nevertheless i’ll be installing this as soon as it hits the arch repos!
i’ve installed neovim with nix package manager on mint.
i love newsboat and it’s always open on my yakuake!
yeah, i also wholeheartedly recommend ventoy
many times it’s faster to do stuff in terminal than in gui
cachyos
i’d add brodie robertson’s channel https://youtube.com/channel/UCld68syR8Wi-GY_n4CaoJGA
cachyos is an arch-based distro, which has a large repository for v3-compiled binaries and soon they’ll have also repo for v4. kernels are already compiled for v3 and v4. it’s also by far my favorite distro at the moment.
I don’t think that MX Linux supports wayland yet, so I don’t think that Waydroid works.
here’s the same as text
sudo apt install xdg-desktop-portal-gtk
systemctl --user edit xdg-desktop-portal.service
[Service]
Environment="XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=sway"
systemctl --user restart xdg-desktop-portal.service
i use kde plasma with polonium with zero issues
