and Albatross’s wording “and it’s ilk”
I have no idea what “ilk” means. I assumed it’s another one of those zoomer phrases like “no cap”, “ick” or “smh”.
I’m aware. We were talking about Facebook.
Facebook has no plans to federate, to my knowledge.
Probably because most sites are so bloated with JS and ads and trackers and pop-ups and cookie notices, etc.
It’s hard to believe it’s the same software when they come up with an ingenious idea like this but also can’t seem to figure out how to separate the search function from the trending posts section, or remove character limits, or offer proper threaded replies, or not tag literally everyone in a thread automatically and unnecessarily when you click the reply button or or or…
And this is why we dont do countdowns…
How is that you can no longer use any of the third-party apps that used to make it a good experience, and also everything you say and do on the website is being sold to data-hoarders to power AI.
Yeah exactly. Passwords and OTPs are NOT the kind of thing you want to lose…
And while you obviously never want your data stolen, even LastPass they didn’t get any actual passwords. Much like 1Pass, Bitwarden or Proton Pass, none of which have had any breaches of any kind that I am aware of. Too many low-hanging fruit.
what is pass?
There are a few dozen ARM distros. Just do a web search for your favorite + ARM.
Sorry, text is too small to read.
Because forums sucked? Still do.
I self-host a Ghost blog. It’s about as safe as any other service exposed to the internet.
Doesn’t look clogged to me.
Came here to say Sovol.
I don’t think you understand how enremovedtification works. It comes in phases. Bambu is still in the early phase of providing value to the consumer to grow marketshare. But it has all the Hallmarks of “we’re going to lock all this removed down once we’ve destroyed the competition, then jack up prices while removing features”. As opposed to virtually every other company that has an open-source ethos.
I hope you let them know why you were declining.
What’s an app launcher?
