Yes. Lemmy is deep in “good enough” territory. It mostly works for most people, much of the time. But if you stray outside of the main use cases, you’re gonna be disappointed.

I feel like the Fediverse would need an artist-friendly application that would draw people to it. I suspect giving people an avenue to get paid for their work would really help.
The duplicate bot posts and lack of organic content are my problem. Low effort comments can be ignored or used as a conversation starter, but if there’s nothing posted, then there’s nothing to say.
Yes. It feels like it has slowed down significantly. I’m posting, but there’s little engagement.
I wouldn’t say plateaued. Decreased. A number of the communities that I subscribe to seem to have fewer daily posts than they did a few weeks ago.
Since the spike in content that came with the Reddit migration, I feel like things have slowed down. Maybe I’m wrong, I don’t have any stats to back that up.
