Ohhh that makes more sense, thank you
Ente supports all files that have a mime type of image/* or video/* regardless of their specific format.
so it handles raw images too?
Nice try fbi you’re not getting me that easy to give up my keys
Ooooh gotcha yeah I remember doing that in the past with gmail
What do you mean? I use a custom domain in proton so that my server sends emails from info@mydomain instead of my proton email. I have about 10 addresses with three different domains in the essentials plan and I can send emails from different containers as different emails
Started with running a minecraft realm then it grew to the point greifers became a problem so we needed plug-ins for protection. So that led to having a managed hosted server then a VPS and then finally self hosting
Can we use dog buttholes instead of cat buttholes
Don’t typograh so small
I think you need like a project that will give you a goal and things to look up to do specific things. What got me into Linux was running a minecraft realm, then we hit limitations on the service so opted for a server instead which lead down the road to a VPS and had me using Linux and commands
Do you know a better one?
I haven’t tried with a drawing tablet but I like excalidraw a lot for planning things out like my homelab layout or bases in games. I installed the excalidraw container on my server just so I have my own instance always available
one backup would be a bit under 3tb, if I could keep a second copy it would be 6tb. I just want some disk failure protection really since these are mostly the drives I pull out from my main server as I upgrade to larger drives

I just went with a sliger case and shoved my old gaming mobo in there and with my router and everything else in a rack it’s nice to keep everything quiet and not that hot. I think rack mount is the way to go, before that I just had a table with things all over
If computer has a removable drive you could just get a second drive and run windows on that if you really need to for some reason
It’s funny because I’m not allowed to use a Linux machine as a main system but all the appliances I build run Linux so I built myself one of those machines to be able to test my other machines because my windows machine is so locked down I can’t do anything with it. So every day I have to ssh into my Linux test bench to test our products it’s annoying
For basic document printing it’s been great but for doing fancy print jobs it’s tough on any os depending on the printer and support. My wife makes stickers and notebooks and got a fancy Epson printer and going windows Mac and Linux it was a pain. She finally got it down on her windows machine.
Even the documentation was terrible. It told her for duplex prints she would have to manually move the paper but once she figured it out it was all automatic. Youtube guides were even worse since they said it wasn’t even possible on that model
