Doing search for each of the listed ~20 names both tedious and unrewarding process. Adding few words about each project would help person decide if they need more info. I’ll put my 2 cents: Protonmail: secure email service, which claims not to sell your data for advertising. One would think a minuscule bit of reading after a few clicks would be a small price and microscopic effort for the privacy these organisations might provide.

No, it was never different. People don’t have time to spend on every single tiny part of their live. Example: How much time do you spend researching how to properly wash and then control the cleanliness of your clothes? How to optimize water and energy usage? How to prevent premature damage of the fabric?
If someone posted 30 links detailing this vs. giving 10 sentences with the big takeaways, which would be more impactful?
