Yeah thats the one
Yeah thats the one
I think tags need to be interoperable so tags become sudo communities
It should be a toggle able setting but whata the issue with @ and # ?
The libertarians are right next to the bigtiddygothgf lol
Of removeding course they did it that way. If i where to hack sonthing together u could also just quote the entire request signature and all and forward it.
So we need to convince the mastodon devs to change it so the signature is on the like object itself.
I really want a good service for disposable phone numbers. In many countries phone numbers are legally required to be linked to real identities. Its the worse attack on privacy. Still not happy signal requires it and refuses to federate.
Again, again, again, they’re going to keep trying til it passes.
So what actual people are responsible for this? If somebody were to dox them, they wouldn’t care, right? Because nothing to hide, nothing to fear right?
For removed’s sake, guys, c’mon! Do we have to do this again, really?
Yeah, same as the last 15 times they tried.
First, say goodbye to any hope of privacy.
Second, the entire Fediverse is pretty much web-based.
There’s also a lot of great clients you can use as well. I use the ones on f-droid because open source.
Ooooo didnt know that. How much more of my time must you force me to waste customising things.
Can u use home assistant?
I dont see the issue letting people see them. They are already public making it more accessible just increases equallity.
Its utter chaos some things federate some dont some federate in one direction but not the other some just mess with formatting. Someone really needs to come in and fix the whole mess. If i where to fix it id start with that flask implementation of lemmy then add whatever additional routes are required to make it simultaneously a mastodon server. The dream would be a single account that works across all federated services simultaneously federating the same post with the same comments across all front ends. Never going to happen tho sadly.
The total federated bandwith is definatly a bottle neck we are starting to approach (ie what we see with .world and it overloading small instances). Not sure the solution here but I’m sure we can work past it without compromising on decentralisation.
Here’s the link to said icons https://codeberg.org/WeDistribute/decentralized-social-icons
So posting just that url let’s us post this same content? Can’t we change the title?
It’s an exercise in futility, but there are some things you can do. removing packages with ADB is a good start. I just copy pasted a list of all the packages I had installed and I asked chat GPT what each one did and went through and decided which ones I wanted to keep.A DNS filter is also a pretty good. That should filter out some of the tracker. But if you’ve got any meta apps or similar, then pretty much pointless to try doing anything to be honest. I moved to Grpheneos a while back, absolutely love it, it’s beautiful.
