#400, hell yeah, get the future launched. They’re like a crew of Zefram Cochranes over there- as nutty as they are brilliant. Just nutty enough not to care about criticism from paper shufflers who lack imagination and courage.

Back on track, baybeee! Excited!

ULT, Unscheduled Leg Test. Pour a glass out on the water for a booster with an incredible record.
Champion.
Don’t take my dreams! We need religious orders of monk engineers, like in “A Canticle for Leibowitz”.
There should be one person, ONE, whose whole life is checking/testing seals on thrusters. He’s like a monk, no wife or children, his whole life is the freakin’ seals. After 10 years of dedication, hand him a lavish pension, buy him a fine farm and release him from his vows.
Let’s know what helium is doing before doing the thing!
Rad! Also, SpaceX goes to the rescue of astronauts, just as we always knew they would. I’m sorry they have to spend over 8 months in space because of someone else’s screwups, but I’m glad that this will lead to more money for mah nerds and Mechazilla.
Practical boots! Chris Hadfield mentioned foot mobility assists, gotta find out more. They look rad. Also, as someone who very recently learned to mend fabrics, how do you keep elbows, gloves and knees flexible without losing durability? The old NASA EVA suits were miserable for the wearer’s hands and feet. Their fingernails bled and tore from manipulating those gloves. Those are removedty, very, very expensive gloves.
This kind of stuff is my jam, I would love to know about the cost of retrofitting a purchase vs. building from the keelplates up. This is a most tempting rabbit hole. It just seems like a barge from the outside.
But inside, its systems are all automated. It’s like a slightly more pedestrian looking Optimus Prime… EDIT: BAD APOSTROPHE. BAD.
Gah, I love infographics so much. Can I have this printed on a t-shirt, as long as I don’t try to profit from it?
This is the finest FAQ in the fediverse. I come back to it, just to appreciate just how much data you fit in it, so easily accessible and concise for the experienced and inexperienced alike. It makes up for so many poorly written, ugly, inhuman FAQs across the years.
Yeah boiiii the first real life Enterprisey deep space exploration crew will be working for spacex get hyped woooo
I would like more Spacex related photos from Starbase, Vandenberg, etc. I like to geek over repairs, construction, moving engines, tests. It doesn’t have to be a big sexy event, like a launch.
Disappointing- I wanted to believe that Ovzon was a new guarana-laden canned drink.
I like your positive attitude! I just want to have a moon base. Why should the Chinese have the only one?
Well yeah, isn’t SpaceX already implementing a lot of the corrections already? It seems some improvements like the (super-duper/rebuildable within 28.4 days) launch pad, are already done. The probably noticed the rock tornado too, that’s why they get 400000 elonbucks a year and all the rip its they can drink.
Chill, read the sidebar.
