I’ll prolly give it a shot at some point. I bought lifetime plex long before jellyfin was a thing. Is there an experience similar to plexamp? It’s too good.

Plex allows this as long as you set whatever devices local IP on the allow without authorization list. I also know that plex just gets removed on the fediverse. Jellyfin doesn’t have local allowance baked in? I’ve never used it.
Not outright displayed but you can find them in the source code.
Top two are Lemmy instances.
Every complaint I’ve heard about the owner has been ridiculous. I don’t know about the bigotry though. It’s better and has been since it wasn’t hip if it’s actually hip now. I’m swapping between it and my own searxng instance.
I use and prefer Kagi myself but what does this have to do with this community?
Was wondering what kicked off more signups.
Couple issues with the upgrade trying to be worked out.
If you know the url, that can be put into the search on instances too.
Well, I would opt for a search through Kagi using the fediverse lense. But you basically edited your post on how it would need to be done otherwise And answered your own question. There’s also https://fedi-search.com/
The post ID isn’t universal when you’re putting it in another instance search bar. You have to use the entire URL of the originating instance.
Are you asking on how to search through your own local data from a instance you took offline?
Edit: this reply looks dumb now that the original post has been edited.
The condition is only that one of your users has subscribed to said remote community.
Not really, people treat their distros like rednecks with a confederate flag. I’ve always found it worrisome.
It is, but the only fully federated things are instance oriented moderations. No one can federate out changes on to communities on other instances. Those actions would only show for their local users.
Interesting, that’s one of my favorites and I’m not having any issues.
Are you using the Lemmy Web UI or another front end?
No, not that I know of, but Voyager has this built in so there’s gotta be a way to call it through API.
For now just use Voyager if you need to look.
I don’t think it’s anywhere near dead when anyone you’d want to hear from still uses it. It’s amazing the amount of times I’m looking for an update for something and if you don’t have an X account you won’t be getting that information as it’s blocked from view without one. I still haven’t recreated an account but I’ve came close a few times or used what few nitters are left.
Might as well give us your ranking of vegetables.
What? I’m confused by the question the OP asked if it’s just automatically that way.
